Emjac is currently hiring for the following positions:
Quality Control Inspector: Full Time. Our quality control inspector is responsible for the following:1) initial sample inspections
2) in process inspections on running machines
3) incoming material inspections
4) statistical analysis and studies on running jobs
5) final inspections prior to shipping
6) deal with customers and suppliers if quality problems arise
Applicants must be able to use calipers, micrometers, indicators with accuracy and confidence. They must also be able to read part drawings.
Davenport Operator: Full Time. We are looking for someone who can operate a 5 spindle Davenport screw machine. Ideally this person can also set up Davenport machines. They will be expected to:
· Keep work area and machines clean.
· Understand the relationship of his job to the quality of the product.
· Communicate to the Plant Manager any machine problem, or production problem that may affect the desired output of production.
· Comprehend and be skilled in the use of the required measuring and test equipment (micrometers, calipers, thread gauges)
· Understand procedures, instructions and forms utilized in the area.
· Be able to use prints/drawings in order to obtain the required information;
· Be able to setup the equipment, reset, restart, restock, sharpen tools, and operate the equipment.
· Understand and follow safety regulations
Receiver: Full Time. Our receiver will:
• Receive and tag raw materials;
• Use of overhead crane/hoist to unload material trucks
• Use forklift to put material on inventory racks
• Receive subcontracted parts.
• Sign off and routing of supplier packing slips and certification
• Understand and follow safety regulations
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Use spinners to spin material chips (scrap) to remove oil.
• Help out in other areas when not busy.
